Cancellation policy

1. Withdrawal by the customer (cancellation)

I. Cancellation conditions for special booking periods (Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival)

Cancellation up to 3 months before agreed arrival: free of charge
Cancellation up to 2 months before agreed arrival: 40% of the total arrangement price
Cancellation up to 1 month before agreed arrival: 50% of the total arrangement price
Cancellation up to 14 days before agreed arrival: 80% of the total arrangement price
Any later cancellation and no-shows: 100% of the total package price.

II. In all other cases, unless a special agreement has been made with us, the following cancellation conditions apply

Cancellation up to 30 days before agreed arrival: free of charge
Cancellation up to 14 days before agreed arrival: 50% of the total arrangement price
Cancellation up to 7 days before the agreed date of arrival: 70% of the total package price.
Any later cancellation and no-shows: 100% of the total package price.

III. The above cancellation fees will be invoiced immediately after cancellation and may be withheld from any deposits received. Any overpayments will be returned to the account details provided by you. If credit card details have been deposited as security, you expressly agree to Bergwiesenglück debiting the amount of the respective cancellation fee (if applicable, with crediting of an advance payment).

IV. Cancellations are only accepted in writing, whereby electronic transmission (e-mail) is sufficient. We recommend that you take out hotel cancellation/travel cancellation insurance.

Note on refunds in case of timely cancellation free of charge:

As a team, we always work flat out to process all of our guests' requests as quickly as possible, but the experience of the last few months has shown us that there are sometimes limits to what we can do. We are not always able to carry out our processes and procedures as usual. We ask for your understanding, especially during this unusual period, that sometimes we have to expect delays in the remittance of deposits. However, we expect that you will have to wait a maximum of 14 days for your deposit to be returned.

V. For all provisions not regulated in these General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry 2006, as amended from time to time, shall apply in addition, which you can find here.
